The Mountains – Late Summer into Early Fall
September is a transition time in the mountains…not quite Fall and late summer hydrangeas and greenery still look beautiful. There are a few falling leaves but no color yet. Visitors find moderating temperatures but varied, using a jacket at times but quite comfortable in shirt sleeves at others. While sightseeing, there are homes and land to explore while enjoying all that Highlands, Cashiers and Sapphire have to offer.
